• Here at Mamo’s Candle Co. all our hand-poured candles and wax melts are made using 100% plant-based wax. Our botanical wax melts are made from vegan coconut and rapeseed. Our candle range is made using natural soy, crafted from responsibly sourced soy bean oil, GMO-free and vegan-friendly. Both waxes contain no additives and are biodegradable. 

    All candles have cotton wicks.

    Only high grade fragrance and essential oils used.

  • All ingredients used are vegan and animal cruelty free.

  • The wicks we use are self trimming and tend to bend over a little. This is perfectly normal. As the candle burns down the wax will catch up and burn evenly.

    Occasionally the wick may need to be re-centred. After you have extinguished the flame, centre the wick before the wax resets.

  • Trimming your wick is very important. This ensures a steady and efficient burn rate. Prior to re-lighting your candle the wick should be trimmed to 5mm. This can be done by using a wick trimmer or pinching the end of the wick between your fingers. A tall flame will burn your candle at a faster rate.

    It is important to keep the wax pool free from wick debris or match heads as they can act as a second wick causing your candle to burn faster. 

    Keeping you wick trimmed will keep soot to a minimum.

    Correct candle care will ensure you get the best burn from your candle.

  • Once your order is placed our turn around time is between 1-3 days. We aim to get your order shipped as quickly as possible.

    Orders will be shipped Monday - Friday. All orders placed on Friday will be shipped the following Monday.

    Once shipped, you will receive an email confirming your order is on its way.

  • We do not ship outside the UK at present.

  • We take care to package your products carefully so they are protected during transit. Occasionally unforeseen damages may occur. If your order arrives damaged please send us photographic proof within 24 hours of delivery and a replacement or full refund will be issued.

    We cannot refund or replace used items.
